What Is a Medical Steward™

A Medical Steward™ is a credentialed medical professional who:

Holds current state licensure or certification (where applicable)
Completed program onboarding and role-specific training
Agreed to medical conduct and escalation protocols
Maintains an active authorization status

Medical Stewards may include:

EMTs
Paramedics
Medical responders
Other licensed medical professionals operating within scope

What “Authorized” Means

An Authorized Medical Steward™:

Holds valid credentials appropriate to their role
Has completed required program training
Has been issued a unique authorization ID
Operates within defined scope and protocols

Authorization is supplemental, time-bound, and subject to review.

Scope & Oversight

Medical Steward authorization:

Does not replace licensure
Does not expand legal medical scope
Confirms readiness, training, and compliance for assigned roles

Oversight is governed by the Grandview Trust Registry™, which tracks:

Authorization status
Credential confirmation
Training completion
Renewal, suspension, or revocation

Conduct & Protocols

Medical Stewards agree to:

Operate strictly within licensed scope
Follow escalation and handoff protocols
Maintain professionalism and restraint
Prioritize safety, dignity, and documentation

Failure to comply may result in suspension or revocation.

Renewal & Review

Medical authorization:

Requires periodic renewal
May require updated credentials or training
Is subject to review at any time
